The final class in our four part Brewing Science series at Four Fathers is all about that wonderful microorganism the yeast cell. This class will focus on topics surrounding yeast cell structure, taxonomy, biology, and metabolism. We will spend a good deal of time discussing our favorite atypical brewing yeast Brettanomyces. As the saying goes, "brewers make wort, but yeast make beer". This class will focus 100% on the star performer in the brewing industry and highlight what makes it tick when it comes to brewing the perfect pint. This class will be lead by Brewmaster Jason Lacny.
