Hotel Health and Safety Protocols

Hilton has partnered with Lysol and Mayo Clinic to help keep guests healthy. Their hotels will no longer leave pads of paper and pens in guestrooms, close fitness centers more often to disinfect, and will seal the door to a room that has been cleaned, so guests know no one else has entered. Marriott’s Commitment to Cleanliness includes enhanced COVID-19 awareness training for staff and involving outside experts in housekeeping, food safety, infectious disease and more to their Global Cleanliness Council. Marriott will also be using electrostatic spraying technology with hospital-grade disinfectant to clean pubic areas, guestrooms and lobbies and testing ultraviolet light technology for sanitizing room keys. Choice Hotels is not only offering enhanced flexibility to your reservations at this time, but also heightening cleaning, sanitation and disinfecting protocols. Choice Hotels offers pre-packaged food and beverage services and ongoing training for staff. Read more about their commitments HERE.

IHG Hotels is in contact with global organizations including the World Health Organization and Centers for Disease Control for county-specific requirements as guidelines are modified and restrictions are lifted. All hotels have activation response teams providing around-the-clock assistance as well as increased frequency of cleaning – specifically on high-touch points throughout the hotel. Wyndham Hotels & Resorts are implementing new processes to protect the safety of guests and staff with possible reductions in certain services and amenities that are normally available. Best Western ensures an elevated level of cleaning and rolled out the I Care Clean program in 2012. This program focuses on high-touch items and areas while using ultraviolet sterilization wands on items like TV remotes.
