About 15 minutes south of Fair Oaks Farms, a popular attraction, is Fenwick Farms Brewing Company - Rensselaer's first and only craft brewery. Come by for a variety of beers and tasty food. While you're there, take a walk to see the amazing murals in the #RenArtWalk painted on buildings around town.

Byway Brewing in Hammond is family-friendly and offers a chef-driven menu with year-round brews as well as small-batch beers in the taproom or the Production Pub. A few minutes south is Fuzzyline Brewing in Highland, a sour-focused brewery that also crafts IPAs, stouts and lagers, along with a delicious menu to enjoy with your drinks.

18th Street Brewery in Gary is currently the second-largest brewery in Northwest Indiana. The brewery houses a small 10-barrel open fermentation system, as well as a taproom, craft cocktail bar and kitchen. There's also a location in Hammond.

Valparaiso has three breweries to visit. Join the conversation at Ironwood Brewing Co. with craft beer fans and taste their malt-forward brews featuring local ingredients.
